My interests are many and varied. I bred and showed Great Danes for over 20 years. I've been a member of various tropical fish clubs for over 10 years, and in the early 2000's I got into poultry. For fun I've had motorcycles, a Harley and some Ninjas. Speaking of which, I've reached a point in martial arts where where I am one test away from my black belt. This was a family endeavor- we all did it together. I like to bake: fresh ingredients preferred! I also do a lot of travel. Photography is fun. I've captured some amazing sites. During one cruise, we had to out run Hurricane Sandy, then had to watch her effects come through our home town. I've also been an SBH/SED teacher. Some of my college training was done in England. But being at home with family is the most heartwarming. I've had peafowl, turkeys and quail as well as chickens. Seeing my children laugh and play with the poultry and having a husband name the giant breeds was a riot(not all names have been rated G). I seem to have somehow gained Murphy as my shadow. I think he likes to remind me not to break his laws or temp him into proving me wright or wrong, as the case may be.
But at heart, I like things to be calm and predictable, with a bit of humor and adventure thrown in. Family and poultry provide this. And I am happy with that. I like teaching and sharing what I learn, so helping folk start into poultry or learn how much more healthy farm fresh eggs can be, thats right down my ally. And you don't even need to be a customer to ask for my $.02. I'm always happy to talk and ramble on.
